Superstar Devon Conway called for a catch but stopped short of catching as he noticed others coming. Others did not make the catch, hoping that Conway would catch it.
But the ball fell in the middle of the four. Boult would have slammed Conway for missing an easy catch.
Najmul Hossain was also unable to capitalize on the life he got in the first over. The player got out after scoring 11 runs from 12 balls.
Chasing the target of 209 runs set by New Zealand, Bangladesh managed to score only 160 runs. Shakib Al Hasan scored 70 runs from 44 balls and was the top scorer in the Bangladesh line-up.
