Eknath Shinde-Dinamani took charge of the Chief Secretariat

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Thursday visited the Mandiralaya, where the Chief Secretariat is located, in Mumbai and took charge as the Chief Minister.

On entering the Chief Secretariat, he paid tribute to the portraits of Maratha King Chhatrapati Shivaji and legal genius BR Ambedkar.

A special pooja was performed before Eknath Shinde took over as Chief Minister. Portraits of Shiv Sena founder Paul Thackeray and senior party leader Anand Dike are kept in the Chief Minister’s room. Shinde’s spokesperson Deepak Keskar said that Pal Thackeray belongs to the entire state. He said that no one can change this fact.

Eknath Shinde, who raised a war flag against Shiv Sena leader Uddhav Thackeray’s government in Maharashtra, took oath as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra on the 30th of last month with the support of the BJP. In this case, he went to the Chief Secretariat on Thursday, accepted the responsibilities and started attending to his work.
