Under the codeshare agreement between the two companies, El Al places the LY code in seven Etihad destinations, including Tel Aviv, Bahrain, Seoul, Melbourne, Manila, Seychelles, and Sydney. With the launch of the club agreement, the two airlines are expanding the network of routes and enabling additional opportunities within the framework of their cooperation. Members of the Etihad loyalty program can now fly from Tel Aviv to more than 45 El Al destinations in the US, Europe, Africa and the Far East. The service on El Al flights has been awarded a 5-star rating by APEX for the past two years.

Starting today, members of Etihad’s loyalty program “Etihad Guest” and members of El Al’s frequent flyer program will be able to accumulate and redeem points and miles on flights of both companies. Etihad Guest members will be able to redeem the miles they accumulate for El Al flights, in economy class from 6,000 miles and 10,000 miles for business class. El Al frequent flyer members will be able to redeem their points on the Etihad network, including flights from Tel Aviv to Abu Dhabi for 800 points in economy class flights and 1,500 points in business class plus taxes.
