El Al announced today (Wednesday) the opening of a new seasonal flight line to Fort Lauderdale, a popular vacation destination in the state of Florida, starting September 13, 2023. Direct flights to this destination will be operated on selected dates in the months of September-October 2023, in response to the high demand for flights during the holiday season in Israel Starting in April 2024, a regular flight line to this destination is expected to operate.
Along with the new service to Fort Lauderdale, El Al will increase the number of direct flights to Miami from five to six flights per week. Starting on May 25, El Al will add another direct flight from Tel Aviv to Miami every Friday, and from Miami to Tel Aviv starting tonight. All flights to and from Florida, including the new service to Fort Lauderdale, will be operated on El’s B-787 Dreamliner On.
