El Al is expanding its route network to the USA and adding 6 direct flights to Fort Lauderdale, Florida during the Tishrei holidays, and from the spring of 2024 will operate regular flights to this destination throughout the year – in addition to Tokyo and Dublin

El Al announces the opening of a new seasonal flight line to Fort Lauderdale, a particularly popular vacation destination in the state of Florida, starting September 13, 2023. Direct flights to this destination will be operated on selected dates in the months of September-October 2023, in response to the high demand for flights during the holiday season in Israel. Schedules for all flights in September and October are available at www.elal.com. Starting in April 2024, a regular flight line to this destination is expected to operate.

Along with the new service to Fort Lauderdale, El Al will increase the number of direct flights to Miami from five to six flights a week. Starting the evening of Shavuot, El Al will add another direct flight from Tel Aviv to Miami every morning on Friday, and from Miami to Tel Aviv starting tonight. As a reminder, El Al won two years in a row the award for five-star in-flight service, in the official APEX airline ranking. In the APEX survey, passengers rated one million flights operated by 600 different carriers in five elements of flight service: seat comfort, cabin service, food and beverage, entertainment and Wi-Fi. El Al received a five-star rating in 2022 and again in 2023.

El Al’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft feature the latest amenities, including reclining business class seats, gourmet meals, a wide selection of wines and beverages, and free in-flight Wi-Fi. El Al’s premium class offers the same services as business class, along with spacious and comfortable seats.

Earlier, as part of the International Tourism Conference held in Tel Aviv (IMTM), El Al’s new routes to Tokyo, the capital of Japan, and to Dublin, the capital of Ireland, were inaugurated.

The launch of the new lines took place in the presence of the Minister of Tourism, Haim Katz, the Ambassador of Japan to Israel, Mizushima KouichiIreland’s ambassador to Israel, Kyle O’Sullivan and CEO of El Al, Dina ben Tal Gnansia.
