Riyadh: Barcelona FC lost to Real Madrid FC for the fifth time in a row at El Clasico. Real Madrid beat Barcelona by three goals to two in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final. Real Madrid will face the winners of the Atletico Madrid-Athletic Bilbao semi-final in the Super Cup.
Real took the lead in the 25th minute through Vinicius Jr. Barcelona came close in the 41st minute. Luke Diong scored the goal. Kareem Benzema put Real ahead again in the 72nd minute. Shortly afterwards, Barcelona took advantage of Ansu Fathi’s dismissal. Fathi equalized in the 83rd minute. In the 98th minute of extra time, Real broke the deadlock through Valverde.
