After a controversial statement about US presidential candidate Donald Trump, social media star and satirist “El Hotzo” was fired from RBB. In posts on the X platform that have since been deleted, he joked about the assassination attempt on the politician and asked what the “last bus” and Donald Trump had in common. He himself answered: “Unfortunately, I just missed it.” In another tweet, he wrote: “I think it’s absolutely fantastic when fascists die.” Statements that now have consequences. RBB is parting ways with the comedian, whose real name is Sebastian Hotz.

“His statements there are not compatible with the values ​​that RBB stands for. We are therefore ending our collaboration with immediate effect until further notice and have informed the author accordingly,” RBB program director Katrin Günther announced to the “Bild” newspaper.

A 20-year-old man attempted to assassinate Donald Trump at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania last Saturday.
