El Jadida: INDH celebrates the international day of cooperatives
Casablanca – The province of El Jadida organized, Saturday at the Maison de l’artisan, a celebration of the international day of cooperatives, in the presence of representatives of cooperatives active in the field of crafts and beneficiaries of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH).
An opportunity for cooperatives to exchange best practices and reflect on the best ways to promote their products and their marketing.
In a statement to MAP, Hakima Erraai, head of the social affairs department in the province of El Jadida, assured that the INDH supports the activities of cooperatives in El Jadida, around a hundred active in the field of crafts, recalling the contribution of the INDH in the construction and development of the craftsman’s house in Azemmour.
She said that 19 cooperatives were financed under the 3th phase of the INDH at a cost of more than 4 million dirhams.
For her part, Fatima Khalili, Provincial Director of the Handicrafts Department, stressed that the celebration of the International Day of Cooperatives is an opportunity to promote the products of cooperatives, before specifying that the Maison de l’artisan houses all kinds of craft sectors supported by the INDH.
For her part, Khadida Saâdaoui, president of the cooperative ”Anamil Chaïmaâ” (Chaïmaâ’s little hands) in Bir Jedid, expressed the joy she feels on the occasion of this celebration of the international day of cooperatives, welcoming the active support of the INDH in the promotion of their products and their marketing.
