15 ⁤days‌ after the arrest of Ismael ⁤”El Mayo” Zambada and Joaquin Guzman Lopez, Ambassador Ken Salazar ‌denied that the United States provided​ resources for the operation. ⁢American‍ agents have ⁤entered Mexico due to the drug mafia.

Salazar gave this information ⁢during a press conference while Guzman Lopez⁤ was present. He was brought to the United States against his will.

“This was not a United States plane, ⁤this was⁣ not a United States pilot, this was not our agents, this was not our people in Mexico,”⁣ Salazar ‌emphasized.

Regarding the⁣ pilot of the plane, Salazar clarified that he is not an employee of the aircraft or an American citizen.

Salazar stated ​that the arrest was​ a cartel operation, orchestrated by the son of “El Chapo.” He added that the flight had departed from Sinaloa and arrived⁣ in Santa Teresa, New Mexico.

The ambassador emphasized that the United States is cooperating and providing information to the Mexican government regarding the arrest. However, President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador alleged ⁤that there had been no cooperation from the United States government ⁢in the matter.
