The Navy of El Salvador detained two Ecuadorians and a Colombian who have been transporting about two tons of cocaine in a semi-submersible ship via the waters of the Pacific Ocean, the president, Nayib Bukele, stated this Monday.
“Our Nationwide Navy intercepted a low-profile vessel (LPV) 630 nautical miles (1,167 km) southwest of Bocana El Cordoncillo, Estero de Jaltepeque,” the president stated in his account on the social community X.
The three South People have been transporting “roughly two tons of cocaine, valued at about $50 million,” in a kind of semi-submersible, he added.
