The National Anti-Drug Commission of El Salvador issued an alert for the entry of fentanyl, its derivatives and analogues, after a report claims “that a considerable amount” of said drug has been seized.

According to a report from said commission consulted, vials have been seized that label fentalino in their identification vignette, “which was illicitly trafficked as contraband and has entered El Salvador.”

It indicates that “due to information from countries in the region, in which serious health problems and even death are reported, an alert is being issued.”
