This Friday, April 19, the ISA World Longboard Championship 2024 international Surf tournament will begin, a competition that will host the best surfers in the world who will be seeking qualification for the ISA 2024 Longboard world championship.
The tournament that will culminate next Thursday, April 25, will take place on the shores of El Sunzal beach, La Libertad; can be tuned on the website of the International Surfing Association (ISA).
“The impeccable peaks of Surf City El Salvador will once again welcome the best longboard surfers in the world for the 2024 ISA Longboard World Championship. Tune in from April 19 to 25 at isasurf.org,” the official account of ISA.
There are approximately 129 outstanding athletes representing 39 nations of the world who will seek to be crowned with the gold medal. France, current champion of the competition, is already in the country to defend and revalidate its title.
This competition inaugurates the season of surf tournaments that El Salvador will celebrate this year, being one of the main international stages where this discipline will be developed; thanks to the good positioning of Surf City and the effective security strategies that the government of President Nayib Bukele has implemented.
