San Salvador: El Salvador, a Central American country, is preparing to build the world’s first bitcoin city. The move comes after Bitcoin, the cryptocurrency, became the first country in the world to legal tender.
President Naib Boukel announced that the goal would be achieved by raising funds through bitcoin bonds. Bouquet said it was his dream to build a bitcoin city, just as Alexander the Great, the Macedonian king, built cities. The city will be circular with residential areas, commercial centers and airports.
