The women’s national team representing the Salvadoran territory this Wednesday will face the fifth place against Mexico of the Central American and Caribbean Games 2023.
The ticket to fight for fifth place The women’s team of El Salvador defeated, last night, 67-59 the representation of Centro Caribe Sports in basketball played at the José Adolfo Pineda National Gymnasium.
“It is a pride. So many girls want to represent (the country), to be where I am. I work every day to help the team and I feel happy”, said the Salvadoran Kimberly Villalobos.
On the other hand, the bronze will be played between Puerto Rico and Cuba; after the Puerto Rican team fell to the United States Virgin Islands 60-61, and the Dominican Republic defeated Cuba 66-65. Virgin Islands and the Dominican Republic will dispute the gold.
