El Salvador wins the Silver and Gold medals at the Pan American Games. The athlete Ivonne Nóchez won the silver medal in skating, while the compound bow duo, Roberto Hernández and Douglas Nolasco, the gold.
For the Silver medal, Ivonne Nóchez, an athlete from our Effort and Glory Program, achieved 18.873 seconds in the 200 meters finish line.
For the gold medal, Hernández and Nolasco defeated Americans Kriss Schaff and Sawyer Sullyvan 158-156 in the men’s compound bow team final.

With these two medals, El Salvador has already accumulated three from the sporting event, one bronze, from badmintonist Uriel Canjura, and the silver that Roberto Hernández and Douglas Nolasco have secured in the men’s compound archery team.
