Bandurang Balwadkar hails from the Balewadi area on the outskirts of Pune. His granddaughter was born on December 30 last year. The baby and mother were staying at the mother-in-law’s house in the Shewal Wadi area.
Meanwhile, Ajit Bandurang hired a helicopter to pick up his daughter-in-law and granddaughter. He said, “We would like to extend a warm welcome to our family’s new granddaughter Krishika.”
Photos and video of the bride and granddaughter being taken in a helicopter have gone viral on the internet. Farmer Ajit Bandurang and his wife Sangeeta Ajit Palwatkar have been given the status of grandparents for the second time. Earlier, their daughter-in-law Akshatha had a son named Griyansh.

This is not the first time a home-born baby girl has been picked up by helicopter. The custom of taking baby girls by helicopter is now becoming a trend. A similar incident took place a few weeks ago in Kate taluka near Pune.
The baby, named Rajaletsumi, was born on January 22. The father of the child, Vishal Jarekar, said, “No one in our entire family has a baby girl. In such an environment I had a baby girl. In this case, when the baby was brought home, we thought it should be a special welcome. In turn, we rented a helicopter for Rs 1 lakh. ”

In a context where most people in Indian society did not want to give birth to a girl child in the past, the birth of a girl child is now considered a celebration. Although the celebration of the girl child is welcome, criticism arises over the event in which the baby is picked up by helicopter.
