Elathur train arson case investigators hold high-level meeting ADGP MR Ajith Kumar and IG are attending the meeting in Kozhikode. A decision will be taken in the meeting regarding matters including taking evidence with the accused.
Elathur train fire case officials holding a high level meeting is being held to check how far the investigation has reached in the case and how to collect more evidence.
The meeting was held at the Kozhikode Police Camp. The information so far related to the Elathur train arson case will be discussed. Officials held a similar meeting this morning. At the first stage, the investigation team had decided to take Shah Rukh, who is the accused, for evidence collection today. But this decision was later reversed.
After the meeting, a decision will be taken to take Shah Rukh for evidence. The police firmly believe that the accused got help from someone else. The police are examining the accused’s life history, relationships and mobile phone since 2021.

The police is checking whether Shahrukh Saifee has any links with the recently banned outfit. It is being investigated whether this organization is behind getting local help in Shornur. The special branch will collect information on the places where Shahrukh traveled in Shornur. Shahrukh Saifi is adamant that no one else is behind the attack. This has not been confirmed by the investigation team. The investigation team has come to the conclusion that the accused got help from someone to escape after attacking Shornoor too.
