A few hours after the boy was taken to the hospital, the police did arrest the elderly man and today two indictments were filed against him that could put him in prison for the rest of his life. The prosecutor in the case indicated to the press that there was a racist background to the incident, but refused to elaborate.

Further investigation into the incident revealed that two signs were placed outside the elderly man’s house; The first says that realtors are not allowed to approach the house, and the second that indicates that the house is networked with security cameras. Since there were no witnesses or records of the incident at all, it is not known if the boy noticed the signs before knocking on the door.
