US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump told Christians at a rally in Florida that if they vote for him in November, “everything will be fixed,” Reuters reported.

If you vote for me, ‘in four years, you won’t need to vote again. We’re going to fix everything so well that you won’t need to vote,” Trump said.

It is not clear what the former president means in his election campaign, in which his opponents from the Democratic Party accuse him of being a threat to democracy, Reuters specifies.

Trump’s campaign did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for clarification on his comments.

“You won’t have to do that anymore. Four more years and you know what, everything will be fixed, everything will be fine, you won’t have to vote anymore, my wonderful Christians,” he said.

In an interview with Fox News in December, Trump said that if he won the Nov. 5 election, he would be a dictator, but only on “day one,” closing the southern border with Mexico and expanding oil drilling.

Democrats seized on that comment. Trump has since claimed the remarks were a joke.

He said he would continue with outdoor rallies despite Secret Service recommendations.

“I will continue the outdoor rallies and the Secret Service will increase their operations,” Trump wrote on his own social network, Truth Social. “They are fully capable of doing it. “No one can be allowed to stop or impede freedom of speech or freedom of assembly,” he added.

Trump was injured two weeks ago when a 20-year-old man shot him during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania. The FBI confirmed yesterday that Trump had been hit by a bullet in his right ear.
