New Delhi: The outcome of today’s five Assembly elections will be crucial for both the Center and the opposition parties. The BJP, which was in power in four-fifths, and the ruling Congress in Punjab will face a number of challenges if the result is not favorable. The Samajwadi Party also knows that its very existence will be in jeopardy if it is ousted from power for the second time in a row in UP.
