At the Himara school, a relative of Tabou was seen accompanying seven individuals with disabilities along with employees from the Himara municipality, intending to assist them into the voting booth and vote on their behalf; they were noticed by Petros Gkikouria’s team and removed from the polling station.

In all the polling centers where the candidate of “Omonoia,” Petros Gkikouria, traditionally wins by a large margin, according to information from himara.gr, unknown individuals with large SUVs and tinted windows have gathered to vote, who are not originally from Himara.

How many have turned out to vote – The “suspicious” new voters

According to the latest update, as of 2:00 PM, turnout has reached 5,800 voters; this number is significantly increased as a total of 7,800 people voted in 2023.

In the municipality of Himara, ahead of the repeat elections, there has been a clear distortion of the voting rolls with the registration of 311 new voters. Also, it was announced today that the Albanian government has decided not to allow voters to vote with expired IDs.

We remind you that these are repeat elections; therefore, the same rules that applied in the previous elections should be in effect.

These are deliberate and well-planned moves with which the socialist party believes it will manage to turn the tide in favor of its candidate.
