The expectation generated in the previous one by the elections in Córdoba and an eventual change of government seems to be reflected in the first partial results. The candidate of Juntos por el Cambio, Luis Juez, prevails with 42.45% of the votes against the representative of the ruling party, Martín LLaryora, who obtains 41.46% with 25.51% of the polling stations.

Cordovan Peronism has governed the province for 24 years, so if the trend continues it would be a bump. However, from the first data load to the last cut, the ruling party candidate cut almost 7 points.

Weeks ago, the election had become rare due to the attempt by the national leadership of JxC to add Governor Juan Schiaretti to the opposition alliance in a great STEP for August 13.

Schiaretti did not go for another term, since the current one is his second term at the head of the province, and he is campaigning to be president of the Nation. The elected Llaryora, who represents Hacemos por Córdoba and is mayor of the provincial capital.

In the preview, different ballot boxes during election day marked a difference of between 10 and 15 points in favor of the ruling party. Among the peculiarities of the beginning of the data load is that a very low percentage of tables in the capital was included, where LLaryora is expected to have a better performance.
