Be careful not to confuse it with the Friend of Citroën… The car manufacturer Fiat revealed, this Wednesday, a new rather special car: entirely electric, the Fiat Topolino is above all without a licence. “Designed for the city, the Topolino extends mobility and freedom of movement to the youngest customers”, summarizes the manufacturer.

The challenge of this model, which follows the Citroën Ami and the Renault Twizy, is to “contribute to the growth of urban electric mobility”, says Fiat in a press release published on Wednesday. “This new quadricycle is a new means of electric mobility designed for a wide audience, especially the youngest, families and city dwellers,” she continues.

This car “is perfectly suited to the city and to those looking for a sustainable and original mobility solution”. Fiat also wants through it “to restore the taste of the automobile to the youngest”, while cars without a license are accessible from 14 years old.

What price for the car?

If Fiat does not provide any technical information for the time being – its launch should take place in the coming months – the only photo released shows a small green car with a sunroof. If there is no door on the photo released by the manufacturer, we do not know if this is how it will be delivered.

Another element that we do not know about the future Fiat Topolino (it is also the name of Mickey Mouse in Italy): its price. Renault’s Twizy was sold new for 11,400 at the end of May. The Citroën Ami, which furiously resembles the Fiat Topolino, is for its part sold for 7,990 euros.
