It was during Thursday evening that two electric cars collided head-on and caught fire, Borås newspaper reports. Four units from the emergency services were called out to put out the fire, but once that was done, the cars could not be transported from the scene.

The risk of them being live is too great. Rescuers are not authorized to cut the power, according to P4 Sjuhärad.

– Authorized manufacturer can come out with technicians and solve it right and proper, says Rickard Holtemark to the channel.

In anticipation of that, the burnt out cars have been moved to the side of the road. Barrier tape has been set up around the vehicles, which have been guarded by security guards since Friday morning, according to Borås newspaper.

Two people were involved in the accident. None of them were seriously injured, according to Borås newspaper.
