Registrations of electrified vehicles (counting 100% electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids) of all types (cars, two wheels, commercial and industrial) rose 49.7% in June, reaching 14,217 units, according to data from the Business Association for the Development and Promotion of Electric Mobility (Aedive) and the National Association of Vehicle Sellers (Ganvam). In this way, they accumulate a rise of 39.2% in the first semester, up to 68,310 units.
If the we separate by type of propulsion, registrations of 100% electric vehicles of all types (cars, two-wheelers, commercial and industrial) grew by 47.7% in June, with a total of 7,685 registered units. So far this year they have registered a rise of 45.9%, reaching 36,436 units. In an analysis by type of vehicle, registrations of 100% electric cars rose 84.4% in June, with a total of 5,855 units. In the accumulated, they rose 74%, reaching 25,562 registered units.
For their part, the electric moped registrations registered a decrease of 58.0% during the past month, with a total of 280 units. In the first semester, they accumulate a decrease of 11.3%, reaching 2,509 units. In his case, registrations of zero-emission motorcycles stood at 754 units in June, which is 20.8% less. So far this year, they registered a decrease of 23.6%, with a total of 4,014 registered units.
Continuing with the analysis by type of vehicle, the data from Aedive and Ganvam show how the registrations of electric vans, increasingly present in last-mile delivery, grew by 124.4% in June, reaching 588 units sold. So far this year, its sales increased by 118.7%, with a total of 3,293 units.
For their part, plug-in hybrid vehicles grew by 52% in June, with a total of 6,532 units, adding both passenger cars and vans and heavy industrial vehicles. So far this year, they have accumulated growth of 32.2%. In view of the data, 12% of passenger car registrations registered in June corresponded to electrified models (sum of pure and plug-in hybrids).
