Under the new Federal Motor Vehicle (Eighteenth) Amendment, the Federal Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has changed the type L1 to allow 16- to 18-year-olds to drive e-scooters with 250 watt motors. It states that driving licenses are not required for vehicles not exceeding 25 km / h at maximum speed.
