Electric train accident case: Train driver charged under 3 sections: Egmore Railway Police action

Chennai: A case has been registered against the driver of an electric train at the Egmore Railway Police Station under Section 3 in connection with the accident. The electric train, which lost control at the Chennai Beach railway station yesterday evening, broke the 1st platform and came to a halt after colliding with the shops there. The major accident was avoided as there were no passengers. Fortunately no one was injured in the accident.
