The Ministry has extended an invitation to companies such as CEDENAR, ELECTROHUILA, EMSA, SOL Y CIELO, QI ENERGY, CELSIA, PEREIRA ENERGY COMPANY, ENEL, ELECTROCAQUETA, EMEESA, ENERCA, ENERGUAVIARAnd, among others, to sign bill reduction agreements after receiving the benefit of paying the balances of the tariff option.

Customers on the Caribbean Coast will begin to see a reduction in their electricity rates thanks to changes in the market and macroeconomic factors. Specifically, the following companies will implement discounts:
CARIBEMAR DE LA COSTA SASESP (AFINIA): will reduce its rate by 4.4% starting July 5, 2024, benefiting approximately 1,558,020 users in Bolívar, Cesar, Córdoba and Sucre.
