Electricity tariffs: New changes to bills – February prices

Mixed electricity supply products and contracts of at least six months can be offered by providers.

These two possibilities are institutionalized for the benefit of consumers, with a Decision signed by the Minister of Environment and Energy, Mr. Thodoros Skylakakis and the Deputy Minister of Environment and Energy, Mrs. Alexandra Sdoukou.

With this particular Ministerial Decision, a previous one is amended, which concerned the implementation of the green tariff and the labeling of supply products and electricity consumption bills.

Examples of the new invoices

Nikos Filippides, financial editor explained through examples:

-Fixed fee 4 months and floating the remaining 8 (yellow)

-Fixed charge up to 300 KW and fluctuating for higher consumption (yellow)

-Fixed invoices for at least 6 months (blue)

Electricity prices for February

A reduction, depending on the company, comes in green electricity tariffs from February compared to the current month, as the providers announced that the final prices will be between 12 and 14 cents per kilowatt hour.

Specifically, they are formed:

-Green: will start from €0.12/KW compared to €0.136-0.17/MW in January

-Yellow: they will start from €0.09-0.10/MW compared to €0.12-0.14/MW in January

-Blue: they will start from 0.11 €/MW against 12.9-16.9 €/MW
