Elementary school children in Gehrden donate their old satchels

On the last day of school, boys and girls from the Grundschue Am Castrum in Gehrden donated their old school bags – for the children of the Tafel.

Gehrden. It is somehow part of it: when children leave primary school, they usually also need a new school bag for secondary school. But what happens to the old satchel? There has been a good solution for this at the Am Castrum primary school for years. On the initiative of the primary school’s support association, boys and girls have the opportunity to donate their discarded knapsacks to children in need.
