«Fiori sopra l’Inferno» is the new TV series directed by Carlo Carlei, based on the novel by Ilaria Tuti (broadcast on Mondays on Rai1). Teresa Battaglia, the protagonist, is played by Elena Sofia Ricci, 60, one of the most popular actresses on Italian television. She was born in Florence, she is the daughter of the art historian Paolo Barucchieri and Elena Ricci Poccetto, the first female set designer of Italian cinema. Her real name is Elena Sofia Barucchieri and her grandfather, Leonardo Ricci, was an architect of great national fame.
