Elena Topalidou and Nikos Kouris surprised everyone last September when they announced that they plan to get married after 18 years together and the birth of a child.
The couple’s wedding took place early in the afternoon on December 12 at the Holy Church of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary – Panagitsa in Paleo Faliro. The couple beamed with happiness, as did their son, who delivered his mother, dressed as a bride, to his father. Their friends were all there, and after the ceremony, a big party followed.
In the days following the wedding, the couple shared several posts expressing their joy for the happy occasion and their love for each other.
“Tests themed on Love. I want you,” wrote Elena Topalidou in one of these posts.
“This is the day when something happens to what you knew about yourself or what you expected to be for yourself, and everything is above you. Unimaginable for you yourself. Without a sign, without anything known to refer to for assurance. This is, in itself, a joyful mystery. And the mysteries become marital. That is, once. Solemnly expensive,” wrote Nikos Kouris in his own post. In the following period, both mentioned their wedding in interviews, and at the end of January, they appeared together at the official premiere of the theatrical play “Fahrenheit 451”. Almost a month later, Elena Topalidou traveled to Berlin with her son, from where she published some common snapshots without revealing if Nikos Kouris was with them. This was also the last time we saw the couple together at a public appearance. A few months later, specifically in July 2024, Nikos Kouris was seen with his son – without Elena Topalidou – at the Herodes Atticus Theater to watch the theatrical performance “On Other Paths,” in which Eleonora Zouganeli was the star. However, what raises questions about the couple’s relationship is not the fact that we haven’t seen them together for months – after all, over the years, they both preferred to maintain a discreet stance in their personal lives – but that Nikos Kouris has deleted posts from their wedding day – there is only one photo with his son – and that he has unfollowed his wife.
