With the participation of 130 companies, the mayor of Alvaro Obregon, Lia Lemon inaugurated the Eleventh edition of the job fair in the mayor’s office, with the aim of reducing the rates of unemployment in the demarcation.
At the inauguration, he acknowledged that one of the main concerns in households is income, which is why he referred to the importance of having employment alternatives.
In this regard, the mayor of Álvaro Obregón stated that “the best social policy is employment.”
For this new edition, the job fair in Álvaro Obregón had the participation of 130 companies
who offered more than three thousand 300 vacancies with legal benefits.

The objective, said the mayor, is to reduce the unemployment rate in the municipality, contributing to the labor and economic integration of the residents, through decent employment, as well as implementing actions in terms of economic policy for the protection, development and empowerment of women.
“The best social policy is employment, which is why we support our neighbors in finding better job opportunities that will allow them to earn more for their families,” he concluded.
