“Elf: The Musical” follows the heartwarming tale of Buddy, a human raised as an elf at the North Pole. Driven by a desire to connect with his biological father, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City, where he attempts to navigate the human world and, ultimately, rediscover the true meaning of Christmas. According to a production release, the musical aims to remind audiences of the joy and wonder associated with the holiday season.

Award-Winning Composers Behind the Score

The production boasts a captivating score crafted by Matthew Sklar, the composer behind hits like The Prom and The Wedding Singer. Chad Beguelin penned the lyrics for the show’s 17 original songs. The 2-hour and 20-minute performance promises a dynamic and engaging musical experience.

The touring cast features Jack Ducat as Buddy, alongside Felicia Martis as Jovie, Jeff Brooks as Walter Hobbs, and Yara Martin as Emily Hobbs. Tickets for the San Antonio performances range from $58.50 to $282. Showtimes include 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23; 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 24; 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, December 26-27; and 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 28. Notably, a performance will not be held on Christmas Day.
