The port of Ashdod began with new appointments after the departure of Moshe Janna. As part of the new appointments decided upon by the company’s board of directors, it was announced that Eli Bar – Yosef was appointed this morning as the acting CEO of the Port of Ashdod. Bar Yosef has served for the past 12 years as VP of Clients at the Port of Ashdod.
Also this morning, the board of directors of the Ashdod Port Company convened to approve the establishment of a search committee for the appointment of a new CEO for the Ashdod Port. The committee will be chaired by Orna Hozem, chairman of the board.
At the same time, last week, the Ashdod Port Board of Directors approved the appointment of CFO Daniel Smidovsky, former head of the finance department at the rank of VP of Union Bank. The Board of Directors also approved the appointment of Yigal Mikdashi, former VP of Operations at Tena Noga and Chief Operating Officer of Shamir Salads, to the position of VP of Operations at the Port of Ashdod.
The Ashdod Port Company stated that “the Ashdod Port Board of Directors is working hard to strengthen the administrative boulevard in the Port of Ashdod, so that it can meet the challenges and competition expected with the opening of the new ports.”
