The signal was conveyed by PSSI General Chairman Erick Thohir via his official account @erickthohir on Instagram.
Erick showed himself shaking hands with the two defenders.
“This afternoon, many journalists asked about @meeshilgerss (Mees Hilgers’ Instagram account) and @eliano.r (Eliano’s account). I had dinner with them and shook hands,” wrote the man who is also the Minister of SOEs in his Instagram post as reported by Antara, Friday night.
Previously, on the same afternoon in Jakarta, Erick, who gave time to answer journalists’ questions, had not yet revealed the names of the two new players who would be naturalized.
He could only assure that everything was in process.
“It’s true there are two people, now it’s being processed,” said Erick.
According to him, Indonesia currently still lacks quality players to fill the national team from age groups to seniors.
