Elias came up with the idea during his school internship at a software company. There the children of a colleague lost their backpack. The young inventor to BILD: “We thought about ways of finding lost objects.”
The “Contags” came out in just one and a half weeks: key rings and luggage cards that are provided with a QR code.
Supported by “Smarte Grenzregion”, a project by the district of Schleswig-Flensburg: therefore available free of charge from the Schleswig lost property office and online!
This is how it works: If you lose keys or luggage, the finder can scan the code and see how he can contact the owner (email, telephone or address) – to increase the return incentive, there is also the option of depositing a finder’s fee . What the owner releases in terms of data is up to him in the app itself.
Competition for the “Apple AirTag”? Definitely – the gadget should also be able to locate in the future.
The high school graduate is supported by the district of Schleswig-Flensburg. He promotes innovation and digital ideas – buy the first 1000 keychains and commission another 500. They are given away for free!
