The police refuted these allegations and stated that Elasibi acted alone and was detained for questioning after the Temple Mount’s closing time.

However, in the Hora settlement where Elassibi came from, they claim that he was not a terrorist, and that he tried to protect a woman who was attacked. “It’s a sad day for Hora. We lost a doctor.
