At 3:00 a.m., the results of the evening amounted to 245 arrests in Paris and its inner suburbs, according to the police headquarters.

In Seine-Saint-Denis, almost all the municipalities have been impacted. Many supermarkets were looted, particularly in Montreuil and Epinay-sur-Seine. In Drancy, rioters used a truck to force the entrance to a shopping center which was partly looted and burned, said a police source.

In Pantin, about twenty young people dressed in black, equipped with fireworks fired in the air or in the direction of the police. A fire broke out at the town hall of Clichy-sous-Bois. Thirteen buses from the RATP depot in Aubervilliers were set on fire.

In Paris, at least two shops in the city center, including one in Les Halles, were vandalized. Fourteen people were arrested, according to the Paris police headquarters (PP), including some North stations with stolen items. Rue de Rivoli, an artery in the center of the capital, 16 people were arrested with bags, shoes and clothes stolen from a store.

In Seine-et-Marne, shortly after 2 a.m., the police were “very busy” and were able to “contain attempts to break into the police stations of Meaux, Villeparisis, thanks to reinforcements”, assured a source on the ground. The Nemours social center was destroyed as well as part of a school in Moissy-Cramayel.

The Pablo Picasso estate in Nanterre, where Nahel was from, experienced a third night of sustained violence with burned cars, firework mortars and homemade grenades, noted an AFP journalist. A Crédit Mutuel bank branch was set on fire.
