The content of the “one hundred days of appeasement” and “action” will be known this Wednesday. On the work side, Emmanuel Macron mentioned a text of law transposing “very quickly” the national interprofessional agreement on the “sharing of value” in business, concluded between employers’ organizations and trade unions. He also cited a project “on France Travail (transformation of Pôle emploi) and on vocational high schools, on which we must move forward by the summer” and which will be carried out by Minister Olivier Dussopt.
Speculation on the future of Borne à Matignon
On the immigration side, the president advocated “a single text” to “toughen our rules” on expulsion while improving integration. He thus ruled out the hypothesis of a project divided into several texts, as he himself had mentioned a month ago.
Once the roadmap is known, Elisabeth Borne will perform the after-sales service on Thursday morning during the “4 truths” on France 2. But after the sequence of retreats, and while Emmanuel Macron has accumulated distant statements about of his Prime Minister, speculation is rife about his future at Matignon.
