Forestville, QC – Elise Bérubé, a lifelong resident of Forestville, Quebec, passed away peacefully at her home on November 11, 2025, at the age of 78. Her passing marks the end of an era for a woman deeply woven into the fabric of her community, and is mourned by a large and loving family.
Born to the late Marie-Laure Martel and the late Rodolphe Bérubé, and later the wife of the late Gaétan Poitras, Mrs. Bérubé dedicated her life to family and community. In accordance with her wishes, no formal ceremony will be held.
Mrs. Bérubé is survived by her children, Martin (Béatrice) and Richard, and also her grandchildren Camylle, Jérémy, Audrey, and Francis. She also leaves behind her great-granddaughter, Charlie, and a large network of siblings – Réjean (Sonia), France (aubert), Lucie (Réjean), Brigitte (Gabriel), Marcel (Nora), Suzie (Jean-Guy), and Myriam (Dany) – along with numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her brother, Luc.
