Berlin: Kenya’s legend Eliud Kipchoge holds the world record in the marathon. The actor won the world record in the marathon held in Berlin. Kipchoge was correcting his own record.
The athlete completed the race in two hours, one minute and 10 seconds. Kipchoge had a career-best performance in 2018, winning gold in the marathon at both the Rio Olympics and the Tokyo Olympics. That has now been corrected.
Kenya’s own Mark Korir finished second and Ethiopia’s Tadu Abate third. Kipchoge holds yet another record. Kipchoge became the second person to win the Berlin Marathon four times. The first person to achieve this feat was Ethiopia’s Haile Gebrselassie.
