The Police of Sorocaba, in the interior of São Paulo, arrested Elize Matsunaga on Monday (27), according to the delegate accompanying the case to the Record TV.
Matsunaga was monitored by the police for submit a forged criminal background check. The investigation began after an anonymous tip.
The woman had to leave Franca, in the interior of São Paulo, where she works as an app driver, and was taken by police to Sorocaba, where she gave testimony in the company of her lawyer, Luciano Santoro.
With the former detainee, the police seized the notebook and cell phone for expertise. After denying the crime of forgery, she was released.
Life as a Driver
On parole since May 2022, Elize Matsunaga bought an apartment in Franca, in the interior of São Paulo, and works as an application driver in the region.
She works on three platforms and at least one of them, the Maxim application, confirmed that she is “well rated”. In addition, passengers also stated that Elize “is very respectful” and, after serving time for the murder of her husband, she deserves “to be able to work with dignity”.
