jpnn.comJAKARTA – PT Elnusa Petrofin (EPN) as a business of PT Elnusa Tbk (ELSA) is collaborating with Kompasiana to hold a Blog Competition with the theme “Supporting Energy for the Environment and Progress of Indonesia.”
This activity was held in an effort to increase awareness of the importance of sustainability and environmental preservation.
The competition, which will run from January to February 2024, is designed to invite bloggers, as agents of change who have a strategic role in the digital era, to convey messages to the public to participate in promoting energy sustainability initiatives and the nation’s progress.
After going through a strict selection process, the winner of this blog competition is Eta Rahayu. In his writing, he displays inspiration through his life story which motivates him to reduce the burden of energy use with the domino effect of walking.
In her writing, Eta Rahayu also raises relevant issues, such as the threat of climate change and its impact on daily life, and invites readers to start a lifestyle that pays more attention to sustainability, starting with themselves.
Through the 2021 UN Climate Change Conference (COP 26), Indonesia is committed to achieving net zero emissions (NZE) by 2060 or even sooner.
In supporting this commitment, the industrial sector, including PT. Elnusa Petrofin, which is actively involved in green actions such as tree planting, as a form of contribution to environmental conservation efforts.
“Through sustainability initiatives such as this blog competition, we hope to inspire the public to be actively involved in maintaining environmental sustainability,” said Putiarsa Bagus Wibowo as Manager of Corporate Communication & Relations at Elnusa Petrofin in a press release, Saturday (9/3).
