He has placed an order for a G700 jet. The 57 feet long aircraft is equipped with modern facilities. Can fly continuously for 7500 nautical miles. It is possible to fly from Austin to Hong Kong without the need to refuel.
The G700 aircraft is expected to be handed over to Elon Musk early next year.
The aircraft is manufactured by American aircraft manufacturer Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. The aircraft is powered by two Rolls Royce engines. The aircraft has modern facilities including Wi-Fi.
Elon Musk uses a G650 ER private jet for his travels. In return for this plane, he will use a new plane from next year.
