Tesla owner Elon Musk has finalized the deal to buy the internationally famous social networking company Twitter for around Rs 3,52,000 crore.
On his first day as the owner of Twitter, Elon Musk fired 4 senior executives, including the company’s chief executive officer (CEO) Barak Agrawal.
Twitter is functioning as a social networking site for commenting. Millions of people around the world are using Twitter, from world leaders to local people. Last April, Elon Musk, the owner of Tesla and the world’s largest billionaire, announced that he would buy Twitter in view of the obstacles to freedom of expression internationally.
But Elon Musk announced that he was backing out of the decision to buy the company, citing authorities’ refusal to provide details about the fake accounts found on Twitter. After that, a lawsuit was filed against Musk on behalf of Twitter.
After that, Elon Musk held talks with Twitter officials again. In this case, on Thursday, he finalized the agreement to buy the Twitter company for around Rs.3,52,000 crore. Following that, Elon Musk became the new owner of Twitter.

Later, Elon Musk went to Twitter’s headquarters in San Francisco, USA and met with the company’s key officials.
Officials fired: On the first day of taking over as the owner of Twitter, Elon Musk fired four of the company’s key executives. New York Times magazine reported that Elon Musk fired Twitter’s CEO Barak Agrawal, the company’s legal officer and Indian Vijaya Katte, chief financial officer Ned Segal, and general counsel Chen Edgett.
It states that Elon Musk has taken the firing action to streamline the management of Twitter. It is noteworthy that Elon Musk has announced that he is going to simplify the rules of operation of Twitter and introduce transparency in it.
Controversy: Barak Agrawal, who studied at the Indian Institute of Technology in Mumbai, was appointed as Twitter’s CEO in November last year. Ever since the announcement that Elon Musk is going to buy Twitter, Barak Agrawal has been opposing it.
Agrawal and Elon Musk were at loggerheads. Both were openly questioning each other. In this case, Elon Musk removed Agrawal from his job. Similarly, Musk has also fired Hyderabad-based Vijaya Katte.
