Officials fired: On the first day of taking over as the owner of Twitter, Elon Musk fired four of the company’s key executives. New York Times magazine reported that Elon Musk fired Twitter’s CEO Barak Agrawal, the company’s legal officer and Indian Vijaya Katte, chief financial officer Ned Segal, and general counsel Chen Edgett.

Controversy: Barak Agrawal, who studied at the Indian Institute of Technology in Mumbai, was appointed as Twitter’s CEO in November last year. Ever since the announcement that Elon Musk is going to buy Twitter, Barak Agrawal has been opposing it.

Agrawal and Elon Musk were at loggerheads. Both were openly questioning each other. In this case, Elon Musk removed Agrawal from his job. Similarly, Musk has also fired Hyderabad-based Vijaya Katte.
