Musk, who just announced the installation of the Tesla mega factory in the municipality of Santa Catarina, posted a brief message through his Twitter account: “This is crazy”.
The reaction occurs after, during the early hours of this Monday it was revealed that four citizens of US origin were kidnapped in the Mexican city of MatamorosTamaulipas.

FBI offers $50,000 for information on the disappearance of 4 Americans
The Federal Investigation Mailbox (FBI) is investigating the disappearance of the four Americans and has offered a reward of $50,000 to anyone who provides information that allows the discovery and release of those involved.
According to information from the FBI, the four kidnapped people crossed last Friday through the city of Matamoros, Tamaulipas, aboard a white minivan with North Carolina license plates.
The crew members were assaulted by armed men, who put them in a pick-up truck. In the place a Mexican died during the attack.

In reaction to these events, the United States ambassador to Mexico, Ken Salazar, offered a statement detailing that authorities from both countries are working on the case.
“On Friday, March 3, unknown assailants in Matamoros, Tamaulipas kidnapped four US citizens at gunpoint in an incident that tragically killed an innocent Mexican citizen.”
“We have no higher priority than the safety of our citizens. This is the most fundamental role of the US government. Officials from various US law enforcement agencies are working with Mexican authorities at all levels of government to achieve the safe return of our compatriots.”
