Elon Musk Continues Feud with John Oliver, Says Comedian “Not Very Funny”
Elon Musk has not let go of his feud with comedian John Oliver, continuing to take jabs at the “Last Week Tonight” host over his comedic abilities. Musk took to social media to express his disappointment in Oliver, stating that “It is rather tragic to see an otherwise capable comedian like John Oliver become weak sauce” and suggesting that Oliver has become too focused on pandering to “wokeness” at the expense of true humor.
The clash began in December when Oliver roasted Musk on his HBO show, delving into the struggles faced by Musk and his companies, Tesla and X. Musk responded by criticizing Oliver for supposedly selling out to so-called “wokeness,” claiming that great humor requires “revealed truth” rather than pandering to societal trends.
This is not the first time Musk has taken aim at public figures. The billionaire recently mocked Paris Hilton after her company pulled ads from X due to concerns over the platform’s content. Despite the ongoing controversy, representatives for Musk and Oliver have not yet responded to requests for comment.
The feud between Musk and Oliver appears far from over as the two continue to trade barbs in the public eye. As their war of words continues, it seems the comedic clash may well spill over into the new year.
