JAKARTA – Elon Musk faces another lawsuit. This time coming from former PR firm Twitter for not paying bills, following Elon Musk’s takeover.

Twitter’s former PR firm has sued the company for not paying its bills since Elon Musk bought Twitter in 2022. According to the lawsuit, the contract expired on November 16 and the bill was overdue.

“This is not the first time a company led by Elon Musk has found itself sued,” wrote Business Today, quoted Sunday (28/5/2023).

Musk bought Twitter, in October 2022 for $44 billion. Shortly after taking control of Twitter, Elon Musk introduced a number of changes, including replacing then-CEO Parag Agrawal.

In its lawsuit, PR alleges Twitter owes $830,498, which includes six outstanding bills, and costs for subpoenas in Twitter’s lawsuit.

The PR firm, according to reports, said Twitter had terminated its contract on November 16. However, the company has not paid its invoice, and is not communicating any more about payment.

Previously, Elon Musk was also sued by six former Twitter employees. He is suspected of knowingly violating federal and labor laws.
