A total of 16 teams will be selected for that round. In it, the matches will be decided in group mode and the matches will be played in knock-out mode.
After that, the festival continues for football fans till 23rd December with quarter finals, semi finals and finals. The FIFA World Cup series is being held for the first time in a Middle Eastern country and for the second time in Asia. In 2002, Japan and South Korea hosted the World Cup.
